(EMIT building across Main Street from McDonald's. Enter the building on the North end).

What can I sell/buy?

Maybe you are looking for a better snowboard, a 2nd pair of skis, tired of renting equipment, or want to try out backcountry skiing but hesitate to spend lots of cash? Maybe you are ready to try out snowshoeing but don't have a down jacket or miss some warm gloves? Have kids who grow out of their equipment overnight? Here at the Sheridan Winter Gear Swap you can sell and buy anything related to winter sports. Got some gloves that were a bit too small? Planning to buy a new pair of skis and could use a little cash for your old ones? Your kids grew out of their boots? Come and be part of our first annual Winter Gear Swap!

Gear Drop Off:

Friday, Nov-1, 12:00pm to 6:30pm

$1 per item, maximum of $10.00

  • Location: EMIT building North Entrance, 2571 N. Main Street

  • Tags will be available on-site: items do not need to be pre-tagged.

  • Items you wish to donate will also be accepted on Friday

  • The following items are not accepted to sell:

    • Damaged or dirty items

    • Used helmets

Gear Swap:

Saturday, Nov-2, 7:00am to 1:00pm

  • 7:00am: Early Bird Admission - $10

  • 8:00am: General Admission - $0

  • 2:00-4:00pm: Pick up your unsold items

  • IMPORTANT: Unsold items not retrieved by 4:00pm are donated to the SHS Nordic Ski Team

  • Cash, Local Checks, Visa, and Mastercard are accepted.

Fees to sell gear:

Gear Drop on Friday = $1/per item

  • Pay by card, cash, or a check made out to “SHS Booster Club”

  • The SHS Nordic team keeps 20% commission on sold items

  • Checks will be mailed within 1 week after the Ski & Gear Swap. Please write your contact information LEGIBLY on your seller form. If you have any questions regarding the Ski & Gear Swap payment, please contact us.
